Jet2 is set to launch new flights to Preveza, Greece, from Leeds Bradford Airport next summer, featuring Monolithi Beach, which is recognized as Europe’s longest beach at 15.5 miles. This beach offers a variety of amenities such as sunbeds, beach bars, and tavernas, making it an attractive destination for holidaymakers. Flights to Preveza will operate weekly on Sundays until October 10, 2027, and will complement Jet2's existing route to Santorini, which will also have weekly flights until October 7, 2027. Preveza is not only known for its stunning beach but also for its vibrant harbor, lined with restaurants and cafes, and attractions like the ancient ruins of Nikopolis and the charming Saitan Bazar. Jet2's chief executive, Steve Heapy, emphasized the airline's commitment to meeting the growing demand for travel, with plans to introduce 30 new routes next summer, including destinations like Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. This expansion aims to provide travelers with more choices and flexibility for their summer vacations.
