Kapoor, who has three children—Sonam, Rhea, and Harsh Varrdhan—reflected on his parenting approach, stating, “I was hardly there,” and acknowledged that his wife, Sunita Kapoor, often took on the role of a single parent. Despite his shortcomings, he expressed pride in his children’s success and happiness, noting, “If my children say positive things about me, I feel happy that I have raised them well.” He candidly shared that he sometimes struggled to remember important details about their lives, including their birthdays. Kapoor emphasized that he does not dwell on the past and holds no regrets, stating, “I move on because I have to stay strong.” He also mentioned that he feels a son may need his father more than daughters do, reflecting on his desire to connect with his children as a friend rather than a strict parent. Ultimately, he credited Sunita for instilling confidence and individuality in their children.
