Singing for Australia in this year's Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is none other than singer and actress Delta Goodman. The 41-year-old will be representing her native country in the final of this year's competition, which takes place in the Austrian city of Vienna on Saturday night (May 16). It’s arguable that she's the most well-known person competing. Delta was selected by Australia’s Special Broadcasting Service, which didn’t have a competition to declare its competitor like other countries. Australia made it through the second semi-final during the week and will be the eighteenth act performing in the final. To date, she’s sold nine million albums worldwide, on top of having five Number 1 albums and nine Number 1 singles. Over the years, she’s worked with Celine Dion, Olivia Newton-John, Tony Bennett and Michael Bolton . She spent nine seasons working as a coach on The Voice Australia. When it comes to her acting career, she played Nina Tucker on the hit soap Neighbours from 2002 to 2005. In 2023, she starred in the Netflix romcom Love Is in the Air alongside Joshua Sasse. If that wasn’t enough, her book Bridge Over Troubled Dreams became a Number 1 bestseller and her debut fragrance became the highest-selling fragrance in Australian history. Previously in relationships with Brian McFadden and Nick Jonas, she married fellow musician Matthew Copley last year. Australia are heading into the event as one of the favourites to lift the glass microphone trophy, with their odds of winning 7/2 ahead of the show, according to bookies Ladbrokes.
