Auxilo Finserve, a prominent education-focused non-banking financial company (NBFC) in India, announced on May 12 the nationwide expansion of its education loan program, 'IndiaEd'. This initiative aims to provide direct fee disbursement to registered schools and colleges across the country, covering K–12, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses, including engineering, medical, and management disciplines. The program is designed to facilitate digital loan applications, ensuring that approved loans are disbursed within 48 hours directly into the institutions' accounts.
Anand Subramaniam, Chief Business Officer of IndiaEd at Auxilo, emphasized that educational institutions rely heavily on fee income, and delays in fee collection can disrupt payroll cycles and hinder infrastructure investments. With education costs in India rising at an estimated 10–12% annually, significantly outpacing general inflation, the financial burden on families is increasing. The 'IndiaEd' program aims to address this issue by providing schools and colleges with fee certainty while offering families a structured way to invest in their children's education. Institutions in metro, tier-1, and tier-2 cities can register for the program through Auxilo's institutional partnership desk.
