A significant breach occurred regarding the NEET-UG 2026 medical exam, leading to its cancellation. The guess paper, containing questions similar to those on the actual exam, originated from an MBBS student in Sikar district, Rajasthan, who is currently studying in Kerala. This student received the material from a friend and subsequently shared it with others, including a hostel owner in Sikar. The hostel owner, realizing the implications, informed the local police about the distribution of the guess paper. The investigation revealed that the document was circulated widely, reaching several coaching students and candidates in Jaipur and surrounding areas before the exam, which took place on May 3. The Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG) has questioned over 150 individuals connected to the case. The findings prompted the National Testing Agency to cancel the exam, and the CBI has since taken over the investigation, with over two dozen suspects under scrutiny for their involvement in this organized network. Investigators discovered that the leaked material included approximately 135 questions across chemistry and biology, which closely matched the actual exam content. The investigation continues as authorities aim to uncover the full extent of the operation.
