Chitrangada Singh, who stars alongside Salman Khan in the war drama Maatrubhumi, has come forward to defend him against negative perceptions regarding his professionalism. Speaking at the Yuva event, she shared that despite warnings about his punctuality and work ethic, her experience was entirely positive. She described Salman as caring and attentive, noting his genuine concern for everyone on set, from crew members to lesser-known staff. Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, is based on the real-life Galwan Valley clash and features Salman as an Indian Army Colonel and Chitrangada as his wife. In addition to this film, Salman is also working on a large-scale action film tentatively titled SVC63, set for an Eid 2027 release. This project marks his first collaboration with actress Nayanthara.
