Additionally, the cabinet approved the allotment of five acres of land to the District Cricket Association in Rajnandgaon for the construction of a modern sports ground and cricket academy. Financial assistance of approximately ₹11.98 crore (about $1.4 million USD) was also approved for 6,809 individuals and institutions from the chief minister’s discretionary grant fund to provide immediate relief and strengthen social support measures.
