In a strategic move to bolster tourism, the Uttar Pradesh government has initiated projects worth over ₹52 crore in Bareilly and Budaun, focusing on the Rohilkhand region as a spiritual and heritage tourism hub. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh inaugurated projects totaling ₹7.3 crore and laid the foundation for new developments exceeding ₹44 crore.
