The Delhi Police Crime Branch has successfully raided a counterfeit goods operation in Madhu Vihar, leading to the seizure of over 1.5 lakh fake ENO antacid sachets and 50,000 counterfeit Nescafé coffee packets. Four individuals were arrested during the operation, which involved the Cyber Cell and Special Staff (SR) of the Crime Branch. Investigators discovered two illegal manufacturing units that were producing and packaging these counterfeit products with sophisticated machinery, raising concerns about consumer safety. Authorities have highlighted the potential health risks posed by such fake food and healthcare items, urging consumers to remain vigilant and purchase products only from trusted sources. The crackdown has sparked significant online reactions, with many expressing alarm over the prevalence of counterfeit goods in the market. The operation was supervised by Inspector Manjeet Kumar and Inspector Pradeep Singh, under the guidance of ACP Swagat Patil Rajkumar and DCP Rahool Alwal. Further investigations into the supply chain and distribution network are ongoing.
