Cho Minn Thant, the Commissioner & CEO of the Asian Tour, emphasized the significance of Indian tournaments in nurturing professional golfers like Anirban Lahiri and Gaganjeet Bhullar. Currently, the Bharath Classic, which was held in Ahmedabad last year, will take place in Morocco due to scheduling conflicts with other events. The Asian Tour is targeting around 20 events this season, although geopolitical issues have necessitated adjustments.
