He also launched the Tri-Services Tele Directory Web Application to enhance coordination within the defence establishment. His leadership emphasized the guiding principles of Jointness, Atmanirbharta (self-reliance), and Innovation, which he believes are essential for the transformation of India's military forces. General Chauhan's service was extended by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet until May 30, 2026, underscoring his impactful contributions to the Indian Armed Forces.
