Shipping Corporation of India reported a 118.5% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹404.60 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, compared to ₹185.14 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The company's revenue from operations rose by 14.2% to ₹1,513.21 crore during this period, driven by significant growth in bulk carriers and tankers. Profit before tax also saw a substantial increase of 142.6%, amounting to ₹415.59 crore. For the full fiscal year, the company’s consolidated net profit increased by 60.4% to ₹1,352.92 crore, with net sales rising by 3.1% to ₹5,779.79 crore. Additionally, the board has proposed a dividend of Re 1 per equity share, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting. Following this announcement, the company's stock price rose by 5.96%, closing at ₹338.75 on May 8, 2026.
