Anthropic, a US-based artificial intelligence company, has broadened access to its cybersecurity initiative, Project Glasswing, to over 15 countries, including significant government entities in India. This advanced model can scan extensive codebases and detect security flaws faster than human hackers, raising concerns about potential misuse. Project Glasswing is a collaborative effort involving major technology firms, security researchers, and government bodies, including partners like Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and Google. Since its initial rollout, the AI model has identified over 10,000 high and critical-severity vulnerabilities, including issues in major operating systems. Anthropic plans to extend access to at least 150 organizations globally, emphasizing the importance of meeting specific security requirements for participation.
