Lexus has officially unveiled the TZ, its first-ever three-row all-electric SUV, designed for the 2027 model year. Announced in Plano, Texas, the TZ aims to combine luxury and performance, boasting an estimated driving range of up to 300 miles. Built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, the TZ incorporates the brand's innovative 'Driving Lounge' concept, which emphasizes a spacious and quiet cabin while ensuring a dynamic driving experience. The SUV will feature standard all-wheel drive and two battery options of 76.96 kWh and 95.82 kWh. Inside, the TZ offers second-row captain’s chairs, a panoramic roof with a power sunshade, and available ventilated seats with power ottomans, all crafted with sustainable materials like Forged Bamboo and bio-based UltraSuede. The vehicle also introduces a Lexus-first 2-in-1 charging port design for AC and DC charging access. With a wheelbase of 120.1 inches and a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds, the TZ is set to redefine luxury in the electric SUV market.
