On May 7, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) hosted a lavish dinner in Venice, Italy, to mark the inauguration of the National Pavilion of India at the 61st International Art Exhibition. The event transformed the historic venue into a vibrant celebration of Indian culture, featuring opulent decor and a carefully curated menu that blended Indian and Italian culinary traditions. The decor included a grand long table adorned with lush flower arrangements and elegant tableware, illuminated by crystal candelabras. Guests enjoyed a menu that began with a fusion appetizer, petit pois kachori paired with Italian stracciatella and a mango relish, followed by a grand Indian thali showcasing regional specialties like aloo petha sabzi, saag paneer, and Rajasthani dahi bada. For meat lovers, dishes such as railway station chicken curry and lamb korma were also served, alongside an assortment of traditional breads.
