Bajaj Housing Finance reported a 14% year-on-year increase in profit after tax, reaching ₹669 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2026. The company's net total income grew 20% to ₹1,141 crore, bolstered by robust loan growth and stable asset quality. Net interest income saw a 15% rise, totaling ₹945 crore, reflecting the expansion of its loan book. The assets under management (AUM) also experienced a significant increase of 23%, reaching ₹1,40,706 crore, driven by strong demand in housing finance. Despite a rise in provisions, which more than doubled to ₹55 crore, asset quality remained strong with gross non-performing assets (GNPA) at 0.27%. For the full fiscal year FY26, Bajaj Housing Finance's profit after tax increased 18% to ₹2,560 crore, while net interest income rose 25% to ₹3,752 crore. The company maintained a robust capital position with a capital adequacy ratio of 22.46%, positioning itself well for future growth in the housing finance sector.
