In a significant achievement, Karnataka's Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) announced the results of its final semester engineering exams just 10 minutes after the exams concluded, setting a new benchmark in educational administration. The results, declared at 5:40 PM following the completion of the exams at 5:30 PM, saw an impressive 99.98% pass rate among 56,192 students. VTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. S Vidyashankar highlighted that this is the fourth consecutive year the university has reduced its result processing time, showcasing its commitment to adopting technology for student benefit. The university's digital evaluation system played a pivotal role in this achievement, allowing for immediate results delivery directly to students' mobile phones. This rapid turnaround contrasts sharply with ongoing issues surrounding delays in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination process, drawing national attention to VTU's efficiency. The university's previous records include announcing results for the 2019 batch within 24 hours and the 2020 batch within 3 hours.
