Motorola has unveiled the Moto G87, a significant addition to its G-series lineup, featuring a 200MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 2x lossless zoom, marking a first for the series. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC and can be configured with up to 12GB of RAM. It sports a 6.78-inch 'Extreme AMOLED' display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant visuals. The device also boasts a 5,200 mAh battery with 30W wired charging support and promises up to 280% more powerful audio through its dual speakers compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the Moto G87 is built to last, featuring IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance, as well as MIL-STD-810H certification for durability against drops from up to 1.2 meters. The phone runs on Android 16 and will be available in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America in the coming weeks, though pricing details have not yet been disclosed. In some markets, it may be branded as the Moto G Max.
