In a shocking incident in Kavi Nagar, Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, India, police have arrested three men aged 19, 22, and 38, along with a 15-year-old minor, for the murder of 35-year-old Jitendra Chauhan. His body was discovered in a drain near the Ghaziabad-Moradabad railway tracks on April 10. The police reported that the suspects and the victim were relatives who lived in the same neighborhood. The motive for the murder stemmed from a series of grievances dating back to a family wedding where Chauhan allegedly misbehaved with the sister of one of the accused. This incident led to a plot for revenge, culminating in Chauhan's murder. The suspects lured him to the railway tracks, where they overpowered him, used chilli powder to incapacitate him, and shot him multiple times before disposing of his body. An autopsy confirmed four gunshot wounds. The police utilized local intelligence, electronic surveillance, and CCTV footage to arrest the suspects in the Kavi Nagar industrial area shortly after the incident.
