Voltas Ltd, part of the Tata Group and a leading air-conditioning and engineering services provider, reported a significant 51.87% decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹113.43 crore for the March quarter of FY26, down from ₹235.69 crore in the same period last year. Despite this drop, the company achieved a slight increase in revenue from operations, which reached ₹4,887.83 crore, compared to ₹4,767.56 crore a year earlier. Total expenses for the quarter increased by 5.3% to ₹4,709.95 crore. Voltas' total income, including other income, rose by 1.7% to ₹4,930.46 crore. The company attributed the profit decline to geopolitical disruptions affecting raw material availability and inflationary pressures on commodity prices. However, it noted a recovery in its Room Air Conditioner business in the second half of the fiscal year. Voltas also announced a 400% dividend, amounting to ₹4 per share. Shares of Voltas Ltd closed at ₹1,347.15, down 1.98% from the previous trading day.
