Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort has achieved significant recognition by being named one of the world's best theme parks in Tripadvisor's 2026 Travellers’ Choice Awards. Ranking sixth in Europe and tenth globally in the Amusement & Water Parks category, it stands out as the top-rated theme park in the UK. This accolade reflects the park's dedication to guest experience, as emphasized by its CEO, Amanda Thomson OBE. The awards celebrate only the highest standard of excellence in travel, based on reviews from the past year. In addition to this honor, 2023 marks a landmark year for the park, celebrating its 130th anniversary. Earlier this year, it also won multiple awards at the 2025 Theme Park UK Awards and was named Best Large Visitor Attraction at the Lancashire Tourism Awards. Looking ahead, the park is set to open its new ride, Aviktas, on May 21, which will be the tallest swing ride in the UK at 138ft.
