The operation, which took place following specific intelligence inputs on April 14, resulted in the recovery of 14 pistols and 15 live cartridges. Among those arrested are Rahul, alias Rally, and Monu, alias Kandu, who played key roles in sourcing weapons and had connections with illegal suppliers in UP and MP. Both individuals disclosed their involvement in supplying arms to associates of the Lucky Patial and Bambiha gangs, which operate across the Tricity region. In a parallel operation, police arrested several other suspects and seized additional illegal weapons, highlighting the organized nature of this criminal network.
