The Chhattisgarh High Court has granted bail to a member of a motorbiking group accused of sexually assaulting a woman, who is also a member of the group. The court, led by Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha, noted that the complainant, an 18-year-old, continued her association with the accused after the alleged incident, which occurred in November 2025. The First Information Report (FIR) was filed in December 2025, after the woman claimed the accused threatened to make intimate videos viral if she did not continue meeting him. The court highlighted that the accused had been in detention since January 2026 and directed him to appear before the trial court on all scheduled dates. The court also mandated that the trial should be concluded expeditiously, preferably within six months, to ensure justice is served in a timely manner.
