Praveen Thakur, a resident of Conscient Habitat in Sector 99A, highlighted that the outages have been continuous, causing significant inconvenience. Santosh Singh from Pareena Laxmi society noted discrepancies in outage duration communicated by the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN), which reported shorter outages than experienced. In Sector 84, residents of Pivotal Diwan society reported being without power for 20 hours. DHBVN officials acknowledged ongoing maintenance work, including tree pruning, but claimed that outages were not as long as reported. Additionally, a 220 kV substation in Sector 99 is not yet operational, which is expected to improve the situation once functional. Meanwhile, residents of Golf Drive society in Sector 63 reported a 24-hour outage due to faults in an underground feeder. DHBVN officials are working to resolve these issues, promising to replace damaged materials and investigate internal infrastructure faults.
