Commuters traveling through Wipro Circle and MIDC Circle in Hinjewadi Phase 2, Pune, India, will face significant traffic disruptions due to ongoing cable repair work near Metro Station No. 3, opposite the Doehler company. The Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL) detected a technical fault in an underground cable, necessitating road excavation and reducing traffic to a single lane. This restriction is expected to remain in effect until April 26, 2026. Authorities have warned that congestion will be particularly severe during peak hours, specifically between 8 am to 11 am and 4 pm to 8 pm. To mitigate delays, the Hinjawadi Traffic Division has advised commuters to avoid the affected stretch unless necessary, leave early to circumvent peak-hour traffic, utilize alternate routes, and consider public transport. Cooperation with traffic personnel at the site is also encouraged as repair work progresses.
