A disturbing case has emerged from Senpaschim Para in Kanpur, where a father has been accused of raping his 11-year-old daughter over an extended period. The situation came to light when the mother took her daughter to a birthday party in Lucknow, where the child suddenly fell ill and began bleeding from her private parts. Upon being admitted to a nursing home, medical staff confirmed the child had been raped. Following this revelation, the mother filed a complaint against her husband under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The police swiftly arrested the father, who is a fourth-class employee in a government department, and he has since been sent to jail as per court orders. According to the police station in-charge, Pradeep Singh, further actions are being taken to address the case and ensure justice for the victim.
