As exit poll data emerges from the assembly elections in Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, and Puducherry, significant trends are becoming apparent. In Assam, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies are projected to secure 93 seats out of 126, while the Congress and its partners may win 26 seats. In Tamil Nadu, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and allies are forecasted to win 128 seats from a total of 234, with the AIADMK and its allies expected to take 86 seats. In Kerala, the United Democratic Front (UDF) is predicted to win 78 seats in a total of 140, surpassing the Left Democratic Front (LDF), which is likely to secure 58 seats. In West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress and allies are projected to win 146 seats out of 294, with the BJP and its allies close behind at 140 seats. Lastly, in Puducherry, the National Democratic Alliance (NRC) is expected to win 17 seats from 30, while Congress and partners may secure 9 seats.
