Early Saturday morning, an apartment fire at Sheridan Ridge Apartments in Overland Park, Kansas, resulted in five individuals being hospitalized, including three children. Fire crews from the Overland Park, Lenexa, and Shawnee Fire Departments responded to the emergency just before 3 a.m.. Upon arrival, they found smoke and flames emanating from a two-story building, with some individuals trapped on the roof.
