In the recent Panchkula municipal corporation elections, rural wards outperformed urban sectors in voter turnout. Out of 207,444 eligible voters, 110,743 cast their votes, resulting in an overall turnout of 53%. Ward 20, which includes several villages, achieved the highest turnout at 81.96%.

Out of 207,444 eligible voters, 110,743 votes were cast, resulting in an overall turnout of 53%. Rural wards, particularly Ward 20, which includes Khatauli, Jalauli, Nangal, Alipur, Toka, Sukhdarshanpur, Khangesara, Kot, and Billa villages, achieved the highest turnout at 81.96%. Ward 19, covering Ramgarh, Billa, Jaswantgarh, Dabkouri, and Mankaya villages, followed with a turnout of 68.99%. Conversely, urban sectors struggled with lower participation rates, as Ward 3, which includes Sector 7 and Sector 8, recorded the lowest turnout at 41.67%. Ward 2, comprising Mansa Devi Complex Sector 2, Sector 6, and Majri village, also underperformed with a turnout of 42.80%.
