Axis Bank, one of India's leading private sector banks, reported a 1.71% increase in its consolidated net profit, reaching ₹7,602.63 crore ($920 million USD) for the quarter ending March 2026, compared to ₹7,475.13 crore ($905 million USD) in the same quarter of the previous year. The bank's total operating income rose by 5.30% to ₹34,170.99 crore ($4.1 billion USD) from ₹32,452.32 crore ($3.9 billion USD) in the corresponding quarter of March 2025. However, the full-year net profit showed a decline of 5.95%, totaling ₹26,384.85 crore ($3.2 billion USD) compared to ₹28,055.11 crore ($3.4 billion USD) in the previous year. Despite the annual decline, the total operating income for the year increased by 4.05%, amounting to ₹132,538.24 crore ($16 billion USD) compared to ₹127,374.09 crore ($15.3 billion USD) in the previous year. The operating profit margin for the fourth quarter stood at 56.64%.
