The BRICS Youth Council Entrepreneurship Working Group Meeting convened in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, as part of India's BRICS Chairship for 2026. The event attracted youth entrepreneurs, policymakers, and stakeholders from BRICS countries to discuss enhancing cooperation in entrepreneurship and promoting sustainable growth. Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, addressed participants via video link, highlighting the demographic potential of BRICS nations, where nearly half the population is under 35 years old. The meeting featured a session titled 'From Local Innovation to Global Impact,' allowing representatives from participating countries to share their entrepreneurial experiences and best practices. Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse, emphasized the need for collaboration among BRICS nations to leverage local innovations for global impact. The agenda also included thematic discussions on digital innovation, social entrepreneurship, and green business models, focusing on fostering partnerships among young entrepreneurs across various sectors, including AI and sustainability. Workshops and interactive sessions are planned to further strengthen collaboration among BRICS youth entrepreneurs.
