Jewellery artist Adam Neeley has launched a high jewellery collection titled Dalí's Garden, inspired by Salvador Dalí's surrealist art and culinary creativity. The collection, unveiled at PAD Paris, features pieces that reflect a dreamlike landscape, emphasizing themes of metamorphosis and impermanence. Notably, the Rosa Petula necklace showcases over 55 carats of Burmese rubies, arranged in petal-like structures and crafted from anodised titanium, a challenging material for jewellery making. Dalí's work has seen a resurgence in cultural and commercial interest, highlighted by recent exhibitions and auction successes, such as the Swirling Sea necklace selling for €736,600 at Sotheby’s. Designers like Lydia Courteille and Martina Kocianova are also channeling Dalí's surrealism into their creations, with Courteille incorporating Dalí's iconography and Kocianova exploring provocative themes in her pieces. This revival of Dalí's influence reflects a broader fascination with surrealism in contemporary jewellery design.
