In a disturbing incident in Jaipur, Rajasthan, three men have been arrested for allegedly gang-raping a 20-year-old woman near a temple. The crime took place on May 24, after the victim and her partner visited the temple for prayers. The accused assaulted her partner, tied him up, and abducted the woman to a nearby forested area where they raped her multiple times. They recorded the assault and threatened to release the video on social media if she reported the crime. Although the woman confided in her family, she delayed reporting the incident due to fear. After receiving assurances of confidentiality, she filed a complaint on Wednesday. Police have registered a case under Section 70 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Following the complaint, a special police team was formed, leading to the swift arrest of the suspects, who have since been placed in judicial custody. Authorities are also investigating the security situation at the temple and surrounding areas.
