An Amber Alert has been issued for 5-year-old Daleza Fregoso, who is believed to be with her father, Ruben Fregoso, a person of interest in the violent death of her mother. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that Daleza and Ruben were last seen on Sunday morning near Alsace Avenue and Ferndale Street in Arlington Heights, Los Angeles. On Monday, officers found the mother dead at a home on South Alsace Avenue, with investigators stating she died due to violence. Following the discovery, the Amber Alert was activated after it became clear that both Daleza and Ruben were missing. Authorities have learned that Ruben made statements indicating he might attempt to flee the country. While the vehicle they were believed to be in, a white 2019 Land Rover Discovery, was located, both Daleza and Ruben remain unaccounted for. The police are urging anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact 911 immediately.
