In a significant development in the Nasrapur rape-murder case, Pune rural police recreated the crime scene late at night, taking 65-year-old Bhimrao Kamble to the site where the alleged crime occurred. This incident, involving the tragic death of a three-and-a-half-year-old girl on May 1, has led to widespread outrage in the Bhor region. The police operation was conducted discreetly due to fears of mob violence. Kamble, who has a criminal history of sexual offenses, was made to demonstrate the sequence of events leading to the crime inside a cowshed. Postmortem results revealed that the victim suffered from asphyxia, with evidence of severe physical violence. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been established to ensure thorough investigation and justice for the victim. The incident has provoked strong public protests, with villagers demanding stringent punishment for the accused.
