The Bihar government has announced a fare increase for state-run buses, set to take effect on June 1, with rates rising by 10%-15% for approximately 1,500 buses. Following this, the Bihar Motor Transport Federation plans to implement a similar fare hike for nearly 40,000 private buses, starting June 10.
