Shrikant Shinde, the Shiv Sena Parliamentary Party Leader and MP from Kalyan, will commence a statewide tour starting May 16, aimed at bolstering the party's grassroots organization in preparation for the upcoming Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections in Maharashtra. This tour will span 22 districts and cover more than 100 Assembly constituencies, running until July 15. Shinde's approach emphasizes direct interaction with party workers, as he aims to gather local insights and strengthen the party's presence at the booth level. Previously, he successfully completed outreach efforts in Mumbai and Thane, and conducted visits in Marathwada and Western Maharashtra. The tour will involve detailed discussions on election preparations, organizational strategies, and addressing local issues. Shinde's itinerary is divided into three phases, beginning in North Maharashtra, with meetings planned in various districts throughout May, June, and July 2026.
