On April 29, Bandhan Bank's share price surged 10% to a 52-week high of ₹196.10 following the release of its Q4FY26 earnings. The bank reported a net profit of ₹534.14 crore, an impressive 68.02% increase compared to ₹317.90 crore in Q4FY25. This growth was attributed to lower provisions and an improvement in asset quality, despite a decline in net interest margin (NIM) to 6.2%, down from 6.7% the previous year, due to rising funding costs. The bank's gross non-performing assets (NPAs) improved to 3.27%, down from 3.33% in the previous quarter, while net NPAs decreased to 0.97% from 0.99%. Total deposits grew by 10% to ₹1.66 lakh crore, and gross advances increased by 13% to ₹1.54 lakh crore as of March 2026. For the full fiscal year FY26, net profit declined by 55.43% to ₹1,223.56 crore, compared to ₹2,745.30 crore in FY25. The bank also declared a dividend of ₹1.5 per equity share, reflecting a 15% payout on a face value of ₹10 per share.
