Reliance Jio has introduced a new range of prepaid plans specifically for feature phone users, termed '4G Feature Phone Plans'. This change follows feedback from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) regarding the need for transparency in device-specific plans. The new lineup replaces the older JioBharat plans and discontinues previous JioPhone-specific options. The base plan, priced at ₹123, provides users with unlimited voice calls, 0.5GB of data per day (totaling 14GB), and 300 SMS over a validity period of 28 days. The ₹234 plan extends these benefits to 56 days, while the ₹369 plan offers 84 days of service with a total of 426GB of data. For users seeking longer-term options, Jio has also introduced a ₹1,234 plan that provides 336 days of validity with similar benefits. Additionally, Jio has launched various data add-on packs, including ₹26 for 2GB and ₹62 for 6GB, both valid for 28 days. A notable introduction is the ₹21 plan, aimed at new 4G feature phone buyers, which offers unlimited calls and 0.5GB of data per day for just four days. However, the previous ₹91 plan has been removed, making ₹123 the new minimum for regular users.
