Spanning 4.5 kilometres from Sheikh Zayed Road to Al Khail Road, the project has increased road capacity from 8,000 to 16,000 vehicles per hour and reduced travel time from approximately 15 minutes to just 4 minutes. Key features of the development include the widening of Hessa Street from two to four lanes in each direction and enhancements to major intersections. RTA Director-General Mattar Al Tayer emphasized the project's alignment with Dubai's vision for expanding road infrastructure to support urban growth, with the surrounding area's population projected to exceed 640,000 by 2030.
