The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) declared the Class 12 results for 2026, highlighting that girls outperformed boys in both the science and general streams. In the science stream, the overall pass percentage was 84.33%, with girls achieving 84.65% and boys 84.04%. The general stream recorded a pass rate of 92.71%, which is slightly lower than last year's 93.07%. Notably, Morbi district had the highest pass rate at 94.85%, while Dahod reported the lowest at 57.44%. Among the subjects, Mathematics recorded a pass rate of 92.76%, and English as a first language had an impressive 99.55% pass rate. The number of schools achieving 100% results rose to 2,030, while only 13 schools recorded below 10% pass rates. The board also announced the GUJCET 2026 results, with 1,32,319 candidates appearing out of 1,36,071 registered, and supplementary exams will be conducted for candidates to improve their scores.
