The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released the results for the 2026 Class 12 examinations. The General stream recorded a pass rate of 92.71%, which is a slight decrease of 0.36% from 2025. The Science stream saw a pass rate of 84.33%, marking its highest achievement since 2016. Notably, Morbi district excelled in the Science stream with a pass percentage of 94.85%, while Dahod had the lowest at 57.44%. Among examination centres, Kumbhariya achieved the highest result at 98.62%, whereas Limbdi in Dahod recorded the lowest at 42.98%. A total of 193,678 out of 1,11,090 registered students appeared for the Science stream exams, with 93,678 regular candidates passing. In the General stream, 4,35,102 regular students participated, with 4,03,362 clearing the exams. Four centres achieved perfect scores, while Karath centre had the lowest result at 64.886%. The exams were conducted between February and March, with results announced on Monday to avoid conflict with the NEET exam.
