The Zilla Parishad-run junior colleges in Nagpur, Maharashtra, have demonstrated impressive academic performance with a 93.45% pass rate in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations. Out of 214 students who appeared for the exams, 200 successfully passed. In the Science stream, Utkarsh Shewale from Patwardhan Secondary School and Junior College secured the top position with 565 marks (94.17%), followed by Zohra Shaikh with 546 marks (91%) and Ansh Sharma with 531 marks (88.50%). The Arts stream saw a tie for the top rank between Srushti Motghare from ZP High School and Junior College in Kodamendhi and Pranju Nagdevate from ZP Secondary and Higher Secondary School in Nand, both scoring 429 marks (71.50%). Ritesh Mohan Dhurve from ZP High School and Junior College in Bothiya Palora came in second with 425 marks (70.83%), while Nilesh Idpachi followed closely with 416 marks (69.33%). Officials credited the success to consistent academic monitoring and support provided by the institutions, highlighting the effectiveness of the Zilla Parishad's education system in rural and semi-urban areas.
