Dayanand Kamble, founder of Book My Pooja in Bengaluru, has facilitated over one lakh poojas since 2022, serving families both in India and internationally. He highlights that the effectiveness of these digital rituals hinges on sankalpa, or the devotee's intent, rather than the physical setting. While traditional poojas are often associated with sacred spaces, Kamble argues that the priest performing the ritual online acts as a conduit, maintaining the connection to the ritual's spiritual essence. He suggests that the real distinction lies not in the medium but in the level of conscious engagement from participants.
