This follows reports that two Indian ships, including a super tanker carrying approximately 2 million barrels of Iraqi oil, had to reverse course due to alleged gunfire from Iran's Revolutionary Guards. In response, India summoned Iranian envoy Mohammad Fathali and lodged a formal protest. The incident has raised tensions in the region, with Iran accusing the United States of violating diplomatic agreements and escalating conflicts. Baghaei emphasized that Iran's core demands in negotiations remain unchanged, asserting that the U.S. has not shown a serious commitment to diplomacy. He also reiterated that Iran will not compromise on its nuclear capabilities, which it intends to keep within its territory. Furthermore, Baghaei condemned U.S. actions affecting Iran's maritime access as unlawful.
