To manage the increased demand, she has appointed an assistant at her own expense. Ayyappa Nagar's library, with 6,000 members, also sees regular attendance from students who study from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily. Librarian A. Vijaylakshmi emphasized the importance of providing a safe study environment. Additionally, the libraries are working to upgrade their facilities to include digital content and internet access, as modern readers expect more from public libraries. Efforts are being made to raise funds for air-conditioning to combat the summer heat, ensuring a comfortable study space for all.
