In a significant step for Hawaii's culinary workforce, 31 local chefs graduated from specialized dessert training sessions through the Workforce Development Program, a collaboration between the Culinary Institute of the Pacific (CIP) at Kapiʻolani Community College and the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Led by CIA associate professor and Certified Master Baker Kristin Egan, participants engaged in intensive hands-on training that enhanced their skills in baking and pastry arts.
