The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released important information regarding the Class 10 Second Board Examination for 2026. The overall pass percentage for the first examination was 93.70%, slightly up from 93.66% in 2025. The first Board examination took place from February 17 to March 10, 2026, while the second examination is set to begin in mid-May. Students who wish to appear in the Second Board Examination must submit their List of Candidates (LOC) and pay the examination fee between April 16 and April 20, 2026. Candidates can opt to change their Mathematics option between Standard and Basic, but changes to other subjects are not allowed. Students can improve their performance in any three subjects from Science, Mathematics, Social Science, and Languages. The syllabus for the Second Examination will remain the same as that of the Main Examination.
