The Noida Authority has initiated preparations for the annual Swachh Survekshan cleanliness ranking survey, with plans to enhance the city's sanitation through various initiatives. Measures include installing theme wall paintings, repairing roads, and ensuring thorough cleaning of drains in all sectors and villages. Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) Vandana Tripathi emphasized the importance of these efforts, particularly before the monsoon season, to prevent waterlogging and improve the city's cleanliness. Contractors have been instructed to regularly inspect sanitation works and ensure that workers are properly attired. The authority aims to surpass its previous ranking, having been recognized in the Super Swachh League for its cleanliness measures. The Golden City Award, presented in July 2025, highlights Noida's achievements in maintaining sanitation standards, with the city previously ranked among the top performers in cleanliness surveys.
