Khosrowshahi highlighted Uber's new feature that allows users to book metro tickets directly through the Uber app, thanks to its integration with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). This feature enables commuters to purchase QR-based tickets, check live schedules, and access last-mile transport options, all processed through UPI. With over 10 million metro rides booked through the app in India, Khosrowshahi expressed his vision for Uber to encompass multiple modes of transportation, including buses and auto-rickshaws, all accessible through a single platform. He also discussed Uber's ongoing partnerships with public transit systems in five Indian cities and plans for global expansion of this public-private mobility model.
